What are the chances that government auto auctions won’t have tons of people going to each one?

Question by leoarce27: What are the chances that government auto auctions won’t have tons of people going to each one?
Government auto auctions seem like a good idea, and would like to check one out, being that i never went to one….

However, I’m thinking that too many people go to them so there will be too many bids.

Am I right in this, or is there a chance that only a few people go to each one?

If anyone has been to many of them, can you tell me if it’s the same each time or different each time? meaning, are some packed with people and some just a hand-full of people?

What’s the best way to make sure I don’t go to an over-crowded government auto auction?

Or am I just pipe-dreaming?

A few things about auctions – the ones that are so called “government” auctions are usually just a bunch of baloney with junkers for sale. Regular auctions are for vehicle dealers that gamble with purchasing vehicles, and the general public cannot purchase at these auctions. An auction vehicle is a big risk, as there is no way to know the history of the vehicle – especially the mechanical history – and therefore, the vehicle may last for many years, or fall apart after a few days……….no warranties are provided; some of the auction vehicles are sold with a “salvage title” which insurance companies will not insure. Plain & simple – go to a trusted auto dealer where a warranty can be purchased
