Thank you guys! The information you provided is worth a lot. I would have actually paid for this information if it was a course.
I thought I knew about buying used cars but now I knew how wrong I was and how little I knew.
Love you guys both for providing a great service to the public.

how does the absence ofthe abs light, which indicates if there is a fault in the abs system only cause you to “have no brakes at all”????? the brakes will still function with or with out the abs system.

@murad69 I had my rear driver side tire blow out on me (procrastinated on replacing) on the highway going 75. when my suv hit 40, i tried to turn to the hov lane but i lost control and hit the side. luckally i was ok and was still able to drive my 97 ford explorer for months after

The rust could present even a greater threat to structural integrity than an accident, not to mention suspension and subframe corrosion, brake and fuel lines rusting. I’ve seen rusted cars have catastrophic chassis failure in a moderate collision. And I’ve seen VIN stickers removed and placed on R-DOT parts. (R-DOT is a replacement part either factory or aftermarket)

Wish it was that simple! Actually, these stickers are designed specifically for anti theft purposes, therefore any tampering with the sticker will end up in its destruction. So there is no way one of these stickers can just fall off, they are super Heavy Duty!

  13. reddot2893 Says:

just because a sticker is missing dosnt mean its been in an accident it could have fallen off u never know …..

  14. CarReality Says:

Agreed, but two adjacent panels on this car have been repainted, so it indicates a very high probability of collision damage. Besides, who wants to purchase a vehicle that is having rust issues?

  15. silas132 Says:

what if the panel was just rusted and replaced?

you cant assume it was in a accident just by that.

  19. merlin2600 Says:

If the tyre is as shown in the video, it’s not just a tyre issue: the car has a geometry problem and probably had a serious crash that damaged its structure.

  20. murad69 Says:

same problem happend to me with my front tire.
on the freeway going 70 luckily didnt lose control.i just pull over.

  21. Tippey764 Says:
